So uh, last night's stream devolved into some weird hilarity at the tail end, and I wound up doing something COMPLETELY out of left field for absolutely no reason. Someone brought up Furvilla and I wound up getting caught in one of those "can I still do the thing" urges to try my hand eviscerating a pre-made heap of templates. I have no idea what Furvilla actually is short of an account here,  Furvilla, with some squishably cute free-to-snag black and white bases on their page and some kind of site attached.

Fun fact: long before my days on FurAffinity, I bounced around the Breedable/Changeable Pets forum on Gaiaonline. I used to pop from place to place working on other peoples' templates as a colorist/editor, so there's a really weird kind of throwback nostalgia to the whole idea of it. I actually owe my existence here (and my job) to that site, because it's where I met both  Pachabel and  Lilwerewolfgirl, who helped me become the person I am today.

I think the "base" for this one was about 50% drop-eared canine thing, shins% deer thing, and tailbutt% some flowery kirin (maybe?) thing. A deer thing also had to be sacrificed for snoot bits.

I have to admit, it was kind of fun retconning my own style to try and blend in with another person's art. Go check out the  Furvilla people if you've got a wild hair to bash around your own, eh?
