Gift: Prescott the Marten
This was a random gift for a user named Clapperson on Instagram! It's their marten character named Prescott. I thought he was so adorable that I had to try drawing him!
I really liked how this came out, much more than most of my other doodles. So I thought it was good enough to share!
I'm going to start posting more random doodles and whatnot on here in the future. I don't post enough and I need to fix that!

All three, really! I have terrible lighting when I draw (No good angle for sunlight and the indoor light is an unsettling yellow) which in turn makes for crappy lighting when photographing (mostly because I like to photograph at night!) and my scanner does great at picking up lines... But not tones. This would have been completely washed out if I scanned it!
Ah, I see... Yellow light? You still have incandescent bulbs? (Most flourescents I've seen tend to bluish white, but there are a fair number of daylight flavored ones now.) If it isn't an emclosed fixture with a heat limitation, look for a 100 watt bulb incandescent. they are forbidden tech now, but those were my favorite bulbs!
