This character was invented by me when I was in 4th grade, based on a pokemon. (I forgot which one it is)^^; I was scavanging around my old sketchbook looking at my crappy drawings till I came up to him. I thought hey, I can redraw him and color him to practice my lame coloring skills. So I did and I'm proud on what I've done, except for the water. I failed at coloring the water.>.< I was even silly enough to splash the water in the sink to see how the water looks like.
Also I've lineart it because when I colored it's teeth dissapeared. And when I lined his teeth it looked weird, so I have to lineart the whole thing.
Please tell me if you like the linearting and also comment on this. He is very important to me, whew I'm done talking.
Done with color pencil and thin black marker.

I suspect the teeth just disappeared because of the paleness of the overall coloring. And water's damned hard! Nobody really draws it like water actually looks, and if we did, it'd just look silly. I've been trying and I can't do it either, heh.
Once again you have these lovely curves and counter-curves to all the fins, reflected by the body's arch, all focusing down to the straightness of the horn. I'm no color expert (all my stuff is black and white so far) but it looks pretty to me and has subtle gradations in it: grey in the blue, orange in the gold.
