25. A Farewell to Justin "Jewwario" Carmical - Gone too Soon
Back when Justin died, I had drawn this picture in memory of him. I had also written the following message down below:
"Today's picture isn't going to be diapered. Instead, I wanted to say good-bye to someone I didn't know very well, Justin 'JewWario' Carmical. For those of you who aren't aware, Justin, who used to work for the website, ThatGuyWithTheGlasses.com, sadly committed suicide on January 23, 2014; he was only 42 when he did this. Apparently, Justin was going through series internal problems, and everyone said that they never knew. I'm the same way. Whenever I saw him in the anniversary specials, cross-overs, or even his main reviews, he was always happy. You could tell that he loved what he did and he always managed to put a smile on everyone's faces. And I think I speak for all of us that when we heard the news, none of us wanted to believe it. But that saying is sadly true: sometimes the most happy people have the biggest problems.
But what I'm upset the most able is not just that such a kind man is gone, but that I never really watched much of his videos. I'm sad because here was this man that cared about his work and all of his fans with such a passion, and I never appreciated him until now. I thought that people like Justin would stay forever, and it hurts to know that the people who make you smile could be or are gone, and that they're never coming back. The day I learned that Justin died, I called my best friend and gave my dad a hug. I never thought about what would happen if today could be the last time I'd see any of them until I heard the news. Justin, you helped me while you were here, and even when you're gone, you continue to help me and everyone around. And even though I'm saddened by your death, I will always remember you as the man with the yellow hat that made the darkest days the best moments of our lives. My only regrets right now are that I couldn't give Justin a better quality picture and that I couldn't be there to help him through this.
Please, if you're felling like you should commit suicide, call the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline (1-800-273-8255) or go to their website: www.suicidepreventionlifeline.… . Suicide is not the answer. Too many people care about you to kill yourself. And you influence too many people to give up now.We only get one chance to live. Please, don't give up.
Good-Bye, Justin; please rest in peace. And to Justin's family: I could never fully understand the pain you're doing through, but if their is a loving god out there, I'm know that Justin went to a much better place. Please know that he's no longer in pain, and that all of his fans will support you through this difficult time. And be happy in the knowledge that Justin's work will continue to cheer up and inspire everyone until the end of time.
Thanks for coming and be strong my friends. Be strong."
