my dads a painter. you tend to pick up these things. but they're great none the less.

Thanks I try not to rely on filters too much. I paint in rl too so I use the skills in digital painting to a lesser extent.

I has critique: The waist looks turned awkwardly or uncomfortably, from there down to the foot, it's facing another direction but the foot says forward as the upper body does as well. The foot of the raccoon is to the side of his left foot right? If the lower torso is turned the way it is, pressing against the boxxors it gives an impression that the coon's foot in between the fox's foot but the foot is in between the legs which seems like it gives the sense that that's coming forward as well as opposed to just the side. I think you could actually keep the foot the way it is, but just re-adjust the fox's hips to work =3

Yea it's a hard pose to render with no models. I choose to abstract for expression purposes. I kept this work as expressive as possible lending to unusual anatomical choices. Thanks for the suggestions I'll consider it.

it just looks like the leg is crossed like sitting in a chair but while standing up and the hip looks fine. you ever try crossing legs with someone without turning to the side and
then you tell me how comfortable THAT is.
and i'm a raccadog and hes a tealdoby. not a fox
