Something along the lines of This Yerkin taking in this Elf-ish creature.
Id say that this Yerkin was just a crew member, maybe even a high ranking one.
Was out pillaging some poor micro village one night.
An had a strange heart to heart moment and took in this Elfish raggy instead of feedin him to the fish, or stomping out.
I suppose the Ole Seadog is tired of his old pirate life an Takes a "small retirement" and slyly shoves off in a rowboat.
It would seem just a sac of the rupees would go a long way in Micro waters...enough to buy and start a Bath house maybe.
...Maybe the past will catch up, or just stay there...
