Back in business.
Massive props go out to our new colorist helper,
Ishaway, who is doing color fill for me to help move these pages along, finally. Even simple pages like this one take between 20-30 hours, from draft to finished page. I've been handling them mostly solo since Mye started her family, so it's really great to have a little help. Everyone give Ish a big round of thanks, she may have saved this comic.

Back on the road!
Oh, I just noticed most of the comments are about the comic being back rather than the comic itself. Too bad... Hopefully comments will get back on topic on next updates.
On the meanwhile, I should say the new colorist seems to do a really good work. Not easy to have different persons doing it while keeping it coherent. BTW. She totally needs to have it uploaded so people can fave it there too, just saying ;)

Dear Rukis I am a fan of your work, pacifically your anthropomorphic art style and unique storytelling ability and realistic like characters.
The path that led me to your art site on FurAffnity was through Deviantart. It had been way last year. I had been into dragon, reptile, and lizard people at the time and while looking up the subject on the world’s number one art site I’d come across an artist called ReptileCynrik (a incredible artist, been doing it for more than a decade and already has his own comic book out.) And threw him I found another reptile artist called ZealotCrusader, another great artist I might add and he had a FurAffnity connection, and on his favorite list he had some of your red lantern work. It was basically one of those friend through a friend through a cousin can of things.
Anyway I found your Red Lantern graphic novel and grew to love it. The universe that you fathomed up it was both highly imaginative as well as held a captivating touch and historical truth that made fiction seem more believable. I loved the story but it’s the characters that you created that’s always kept me coming back to see if there’s been any updates. You made them and wrote them just like real people. So much so that there hope brought me relief, their joy was like my joy and their fears scared me to. I cried for them and bleed with them. In other words you have real talent.
Amon, what a beauty both inside and out. My favorite scene with him had to be the one where he’s entering the stage with Isolde. All that golden jewelry and that scarlet loin cloth, it wasn’t till that page that I noticed how pretty and sexy he was. Dhaval was someone whose welfare I was afraid for. He was beautiful and uneducated of the world and my heart sunk at the fear that he might be punished for that. I hope something good happens to these two, life changing in a positive way.
Isolde Oh I loved her dancers costumes. The one she wore in her opening debut, it looked like it was copper color and had a skirt that wrapped around her waist. But it had to be the lavender costume she wore when dancing with Amon that I liked the most. The French cut panties and the sarong held together by gold clips. The golden cuffs around her arms and thighs, and that top that she’s wearing, I absolutely loved it. Honestly I wish I had the same shape body so I could wear a top like that myself. I really liked the leopardess, she was bitter and cynical and resented herself a little bit for it but her character gave contrast to the others and showed the diversity in people handling being victims.
Manjusha seems to be a rather layered character. In some pages she seems like the take no shit kind of boss but in others she seems just as oppressed and in needing to be rescued as her staff members.
I could go on and on about red lantern and your other works but I think I’ll leave it there and move on. I have a few questions both about purchasing your merchandise as well as about your characters and universe that you’ve made.
I am interested in purchasing your red lantern crimson divine graphic novel, I’m curious it’s being sold on Amazon in both hardback and paperback. Are there any major differences in content between the two? For example, one might have more pages than the other. Things like character art or art pieces you might wanted to add in. Also personal notes, such as what you were doing when you came up with the idea for the comic, how you put it together, what inspired all the characters, and what kind of research did you have to do. These types of add ins can really enrich a graphic novel.
I’ve read some of your free chapters on FurAffnity of the novels Legacy and Off the Beaten Path. And I am wondering well any of your other work such as Instincts, Menageries, and the books Legacy and Off the Beaten Path trilogy ever be sold on Amazon in either paperback or hardback? Unfortunately Amazon is the only distributor I can buy from that sells furry work.
I’d like to know, you’re working on volume two of the Red Lantern, called Conviction. I was wondering well Convictions have any pacific page count, will it be longer or shorter than its prequel? I’d also like to know when volume two reaches its full story length will it be published conventionally like its predecessor?
Will there be a purchase of Amon’s time from the privateer Grayson Reed? Oh I wonder how Luther will handle it.
Has a female anything ever paid for private time at the Red lantern? Feminism didn’t just start in the late 18th century.
Is Ariel that lion with the blue eyes the commission you did for a friend and said he had a cameo in your red lantern comic book, is he the father of Esha’s liger baby son and what will happen to mother and child in the future? Will you mention it in your comic book?
How many daughters does Rajne have? Does she have any sons? If Manjusha is the oldest.
ManJusha, how old is she? I read somewhere that she was younger than some of her Red Lantern staff members. She must’ve been somewhere like 12 or 13 when she started running the brothel. That still could have made workers like Amon and Isolde a few years or years older than her.
There are male hyenas, I’ve seen them in the Red Lantern world, but I’m curious to know. What are their purposes? I mean obviously we’ve seen them as guards and they most mate with the females to make puppies. But since this is a matriarchal society (which honestly I thought was really cool to do a gender reversal like scenario) I was just interested.
Are there any other Clan families in this society that aren’t hyena based?
What tape of animal is Lochan? In your chapters from the Legacy novel posted on your FurAffinity account you describe him as being a lion. A feline, you know king of the beasts’ animal but he’s also called an Aardwolf as well and in two pieces of art you’ve done one for Weasy and another for Twitter he looks like a cross between a striped hyena and a dog. I’m just curious that’s all. I wasn’t really sure what type of image from our imaginations you’re trying to call up.
And how does a lion become subservient to a hyena? Maybe it’s just my lion king experience talking through or my knowledge of the animal kingdom, but a lion is an apex predator and a hyena is not. Not trying to squash your creativity or anything but you mentioned three in your novel two females and one large male.
I wanted to ask if I could do some fan fiction stories for some of your artwork? You have a couple of pieces that I’d love to write a story to go along with it, but not without your permission.
I actually brainstormed a couple of ideas for your red lantern comic book series. Revolving around Dhaval or Amon, I know a little bit about Indian indentured servitude and about people and life in the 17th century and came up with a couple of scenarios that could enrich your story line. Or at least stimulate your imagination on coming up with new ideas of your own for the series. But I didn’t put them up here because I was afraid you’d think I was rude.
Social media is toxic an addictive and my sister can vouch for this, but I’ve tried emailing you and it just wouldn’t work no matter what I did. So joining FurAffinity seemed like the only possible way for me to contact you.
Before I forget I’d like to know if you or anyone in the world that your privilege to have heard, had, or read a graphic novel called Carnal: Pride of the Lions by John Connell. I’ve been looking for that book all over the place it’s out of print on Amazon and I can’t seem to find it anywhere else. The art is fantastic and the story from the sneak peeks I found sounds original and good. To put it short I want a copy of this damn book. You don’t know how badly I want to read this book; I just want to know what happens in it so much. So if you’ve heard of it are know somebody who has please ask if they’re interested in giving a summary or putting their copy up for adoption please let me know.
There was so much more I wanted to say and ask, but felt I was making this comment to long. But if you do take the time to sit down and read it I’d be grateful and I hope you feel my praise. Have a safe journey on your AC quest.
Sincerely a fan called GrayHeart. I misspelled my web name and don’t know how to fix it.

Oh, wow. I'm caught up on this one now. That didn't take as long as I thought it WAIT WHAT IT'S BEEN TWO DAYS?
...This is not the first time I have found something interesting like this and binged it. Definitely like it. Not sure if I approve of the 'graphic adult content' not being uploaded with the rest when we see the admiral's gnarly, graphic adult wound being inflicted, though I do understand that, it's the norm in all of the entertainment industries from movies to gaming...God I love his interactions with Amon, hope they wind up together even if it is a gay version of...Crap, what was that movie called again? Pretty Woman I think? Anyway. Also can't wait to see what the madame decides to do about the situation...Will she be cowed by her mother as she was about the auction, or will this blatant violation of the treaty be the last straw? Can't wait to find out, I really like her for how much she cares about her property as people.
