okay here's another character concept that made me weep tears of shame

The whole write up shit is on DA but I refuse to copy paste that deplorable BS. I'll Summarize. *SCROLL TO THE BOTTOM TO GET THE SUPER SUMMARY

Jalyn was a species of creature called a Fife from Harkia, a species made by means of magic. Their life source is the green stone that makes up 2/3 of their heart. The species as whole has an average height of 5'5". He has a brother named Galven who has a gf named Malline. Jalyn was married with two children. Jalyn and Galven both did masonry work for their village.

A demi-god hiding in the depths of the forest the Fife village resided by named Arliath seeks to gain power by harvesting the hearts of the Fife. Arliath has a godly sight that allows him to see everything that takes place within the forest. He sends his demons to go capture Jalyn's wife and children one day while they were going into the forest.
Jalyn follows after the demons back to Arliath's lair. Arliath kills his wife and takes hostage of his two children.

OH HEY BTW almost forgot to add Arliath is a scaley, six armed serpent

Jalyn begs for his children to be spared and Arliath cuts him a deal. He tells Jalyn he can have them back if he takes the hearts of four others including his brother's because he is an asshole gee whiz. Without permission Arliath grafts ( i guess you could call it that ) a hand of stone over Jalyn's own right hand. It has shit enscribed all around it hey cool. Arliath tells him to use the hand to separate the stone from their hearts.

Jalyn mulls over the situation on the way back to his village. He decides, since his children mean everything to him, and in a fit of desperation, that during the night he will do it. So he kills some dudes, and Galven's gf Malline catches him in the act of the last one. He sorta freaks and kills Malline with the stone hand. He panics and drags Malline into the forest. Jalyn heads back towards the village. Galven, searching for Malline, finds a pretty damn messy blood trail and follows it.

Jalyn hears his brother yelling for help in the forest while he is on his way back. He follows back to where he left Malline and finds Galen crying and pretty damn upset over Malline's dead body. Galven asks Jalyn for help ( who obviously doesn't know what the hell is going on ). So Jalyn reaches the stone hand out and kills Galven too by stealing his heart stonewhatever.

Jalyn returns to Arliath feelings a tad dead inside with the stones he'd harvested with the hand. He drops them and Arliath's little demons scamper over and collect them. Arliath raises a hand, releasing Jalyn's two kids from a cage nearby. They reach out yelling for their daddy and running to Jalyn, and then Arliath does this thing he grips his hand and with his power he rips the stone from the kids hearts what an asshole.

He then kills and curses Jalyn to be like one of his hodgepodge demons (the symbol on his belly is the same as the one on Arliath's helm) HAPPY END
