Larry Niven is rolling over in his bed(He's not dead yet). He tried so hard to make the Ring itself hard scifi, and most of the others stuff too. And now you add in something physics say is impossible in a biological creature that size. For shame sir.
As for the art itself. Quite good. Detailing is nice, lines, and I really like that star in the middle.
