The librarian's true age is a mystery. His Library may have either been standing for ten years or twenty -- a few decades or a few centuries. No two people agree on the subject... Still, 'that librarian' has been with it throughout. Even for Exael himself, however, time has become a slippery subject. Attentiveness to years has never been easy for him, one date meaningless when compared to another except for their significance when speaking on a specific event. Yet time, in time, catches up to everyone... and one book in particular has revealed to the feline a peek into his (potentially very distant) future. A less intimidating gaze that one might even consider kind, and a smile that sets curious souls at ease without any need for words to accompany it. Not a very bad outcome, no.
