Color of a sketch I posted earlier today.

Someone asked about the character's background, so I guess I'll give as simple a rundown as I can without going into the whole world behind the character.

The planet the characters live on went through a cataclysm many thousands of years ago, slowing the planet's rotation to to a crawl. One side always faces towards the sun, the other is perpetually night. The thin strip of evening around the center is a haven for the last remaining sentient life.

Mars is a magician of sorts, who leads a Tribe called The Voyagers, who come from beyond the Celestial Tundra (the frozen eastern half of the planet), supposedly. He intends to set off the device that caused the first cataclysm in the hopes that it will set the planet spinning again, making him a hero in his own mind, to be worshipped and praised.

As is the custom of the Voyagers, he hides his face with a mask.
