I really wanted to draw r63 Alphyne, don't ask why !
So let's say that Alphys' species can grow facial hair and the males have 2 horns on their snout. He's cute, I think^^ I called him Alph !
And I do know Undyne is thin, but I REALLY wanted to draw a bara, hairy male version ! And he still has a ponytail. I thought it would suit him anyway. And no red around his eyes, I headcanon Undyne has makeup on. I called him Undayn ! (and I may have fallen in love with him.)

Now they're even MORE like Otacon and Solid Snake! Before there was Alphyne, there was Solicon. Before there was Solicon, there was Oblickis (assuming you're familiar with 'Aaahh! Real Monsters!'). Since you hinted at their uke/seme role-reversal, did you notice that role-reversal was hinted at when they almost kiss in-game? Alphys takes the assertive role (after Mettaton's prodding) while Undyne shows her demure side. ^w^
