We’ve now been Greenlit on Steam! Thank you all for all the support you have shown us so far. This project would not have been possible without you. Now, we’re trying to focus on hitting stretch goals. Our next goal is to upgrade the art assets – which means more dynamic poses for our characters and more variety throughout. Check out our Kickstarter page to learn more, and be sure to share the Kickstarter page with your friends and on social media to help spread the word.
We also wanted to take stock for a moment list all the features this project currently will have, as well as take a look at what’s to come.
Confirmed Features:
• A 6-8 hour interactive story experience, in which the main character seek enchanted treasure and the plot will transform based on your choices.
• A unique system for measuring the player's decisions, which takes into account different types of conflicting ethical values and gives each main character their own moral compass.
• At least 4 main endings, and at least 7 secret endings.
• Multiple romance paths with all the main characters. Includes different ways to fall in love with the same person based on your moral journey, and “transformation romances,” in which the person you fall for changes, too.
• Exciting swashbuckling adventures, including treasure hunting in a monstrous cove and fending off a gang of rival treasure hunters.
• Professionally scored music, created by a to be announced composer.
• A fifth member of the crew, to be announced soon.
• Different costumes for Mila.
Upcoming Stretch Goals:
• Upgraded art assets, with dynamic character poses
• Voice Acting
• A feature graphic novel (available for free to all Kickstarter backers at $9 or higher)
• A new type of treasure with a new power: “Shape What You Were,” allowing Mila to re-write history, learn about her crewmate’s past, and transform the future.
Let us know if you have any questions about The Pirate’s Fate or any of our goals and features. The funding will close on August 15th, so until then, please help us to continue to spread the word. The more support we receive the better a game we can make and the more we can add onto it. In the meantime we will keep you all up to date as things develop. And thanks again for making all this possible.

You should really lower shape what you were on the stretch goal bar. I mean shape what you were is basically a quick navigate tool, a lot of visual novels need this so you're not just mashing text through areas you've already been. I mean if you don't want to do that it's fine, but it just makes the game more accessible.
Oh, Shape What Your Were is not a navigation tool. It's a whole new transformation mechanic that would come with entirely new transformations, scenes, and story events. For example:
If you are playing the game and need to get past some strong looking thugs you could decide to talk to Leeko. You could use this mechanic to go back in his past, to a whole new scene in the game, and change his history, such by having him decide to train in combat from an early age. Then when you jump back to the present, Leeko might be a muscle bound combat master that can now help you get past the thugs.
I hope that clarifies the mechanic.
