So, I’ve never sculpted before, so I got some of this odd type of foam clay from Daiso Japan. Each one was $1.50 I had gotten more of the white then I intended, so I experimented with making Sans as a test dummy.

I then thought I’d try my hand at Alphys. She was a lot more complicated as I made the body in yellow & then flattened a bunch of white to add on top of the yellow body. I don’t really have tools to sculpt this stuff real well, but I think for me being a beginner I’m doing all right. I need to finish the hand & touch up a few areas. Not sure who I’ll tackle next.

With Sans, I painted him in different colors, rather then using multiple colors of this clay foam stuff. These things are super crazy light. The fan I have could easily blow them off their feet.

The nice thing about this material is that for the most part, you can wet it & it usually has the ability to be remolded & whatnot. So it’s good for beginners such as myself so I don’t have to do it all in one sitting.
