I'm sooooo mad :\ I hate the dragon base, and the raptor one is closer to his build but they rejected this paintie since it didn't look close enough to the base??? Even though I literally traced it????
The only major diff in terms of pose is the wings, everything else is the same, but I guess he looks too much like the fucking dragon because of scales ooooh my. I saw a dino one that got approved and it had about the same amount of edits so > : (

the thing about the base painties from what i kno, they have to at least resemble the base species you worked from for the painty. a dragon isnt a raptor/dinosaur, so thats probs why it got rejected :0
if you work it from the dragon base you could probs get it in tho!

I'm pretty sure you're able to have a lot of edits to a base, but it's the whole 'can't look like another species' thing that got you, since he looks like a dragon :(
He looks absolutely amazing, though! Maybe you could tweak him slightly to fit the dragon base more? Or just try submitting it as a dragon first?
