Inifinitesimal was open for another spat of $10 sketch commissions so I decided to grab one. Recently put up the All-Stars team biosheet so I decided to see if Infinite could give Recharge a shot. Overall not bad for the first picture of him ever. We will return to your regularly scheduled fatfurs... sometime in the future.
Recharge is one of the two team medics of the All-Stars and one of the team's newest recruits. As the team is prone to getting heavily into melee when they get physical, multiple healers are essential to getting back into "photo-op" shape. Specializing in sports medicine and pharmaceuticals, Recharge is more focused on maintaining the team's overall health as opposed to Touchdown's immediate "get right back in the game" heals. Like the equine Lineman, he's also a generally decent fellow making him a bit of an oddity among a team of diva super"heroes" but then again as a survivor of the Aphrodite City Crisis, he wasn't left with a lot of options.
Typical of many refugees from Aphrodite City post-crisis, Recharge came to Silicon City with barely a cent to his name and a lot of emotional baggage to sift through. Recharge talks little about his time in Aphrodite City and Coach is hesitant to use telepathy to fish out details (for numerous ethical and safety reasons.) The only things the rest of his team knows for certain is that he learned his skills either as a research tech for Ambrosia Biotech or a sports medic for a fitness chain local to Aphrodite City and that he ran afoul of the Hedonists during the crisis. Exactly what transpired, he will not say. Regardless, the experience is the only thing that can put this otherwise cheerful, somewhat flirty male in a foul mood. It also fills him with an almost pathological hatred for bullies in all their forms, something that makes it worth repeating that Recharge is essentially the team's "candyman" with access to Omega Industries's experimental pharmaceuticals and the potent bulking agents that help Lineman and Striker maintain their muscle mass.
