Another old sketch. still during the time he was under the influence of the Black Spiral. though most of his markings are under the clothes. he had begun manifesting the wings during great workings. they are ethereal and can pass through solid matter. back then they were black with iridescent sheen. like some members of the raven family. The costume he wears is inspired by the cultures that helped define him. originally Chinese as a child and later moving to Japan (his original name was Mao Yun Lung) he also spent some time in the middle east before moving on to the occidental lands in normal AD&D. The katanas were a gift from the dragon he later found out was the avatar of his father. who had created him and his siblings out of magic (and what an odd family he has) most of this he did not learn til much later in life. his family having been scattered (he believed killed) by Yuan Ti when he was a very young child. At some point i really should draw him as a child when he worked in a brothel in China. thats where he got a lot of his education from as the high class brothels educated their "entertainers" in many things like music and poetry and philosophy and state craft and other more esoteric things as well as sexual techniques and more base things. they were like the geisha except unlike geisha there were males and they had to put out if a customer wanted it. but also had to be able to entertain anyone that came. which often included many officials and scholars taking breaks from studies.
