Here's Jax! And she's not wearing any pants, that's rude shame on you.
I've had Jaxine floating around in my head longer than any of my other furry characters. It's been two and a half years since I drew a punky-looking fox that would eventually become the awful little gremlin you see here - not all that long I guess, but before then I just had some weird fantasy alien creatures and shameless ripoffs. I guess that's about when I started getting in a bad way mentally, and this world started forming as a retreat or idealistic fantasy or something... But that's not stuff I should be talking about here, sorry.
Anyway, while I've drawn her a number of times before, this is the first time I've actually given her color. And honestly she looks a little odd; she's a kit fox (vulpes macrotis), but she was originally a fennec fox until I decided to keep this cast of characters limited to animals found living or fossilized in Texas, but even though her body changed I kept imagining her fur being completely beige/cream, so all this grey looks odd, ah well.
Also the overall stiffness and terrible foot proportions should show you why I shouldn't attempt expressive flexibility quite yet lmao same deal as with the last drawing, I guess. edit: but i'm still gonna say that the snout looks awful in comparison too my previous times drawing her, I tried making it thinner and longer like a fox snout but it just ain't right. I definitely need to study a lot more.
also put some pants on you awful creature
