Bird Bath - [Commission]

This one took a bit longer than I had planned for these commissions x3 Not just because of the detail in it, but because I just failed at the first commission idea quite a while ago and we had to get another idea and stuff xd
But yeah I also wanted to give it my all for this picture, since I don't get to draw Garudamon all that often, and after all she's my favorite Digimon! I draw a lot of Gatomonz and... sometimes Rena
and Gao and all them dudes, but Garudamon has a pretty detailled design and birds are not one of my strenghts, so it takes me quite some time and effort to get any pictures with her done xd
So yeah, here she is! Mountain-sized and taking a relaxing bird bath while showing off her massive talons. Lots of fun to put the whole thing together, it kinda reminded me of my last holidays in austria x3
Would have been amazing to randomly find her like this back then~

It's always nice to see you do something that you're good with but don't get a lot of opportunities to draw. It keeps everything fresh and helps show off what you can do with other familiar characters.
That being said, the details are nicely done. The environment is definitely very scenic, although I've never been to Austria. It sounds great, though. The scale works really well in this; little details that accompany this are how the ground is impacted or the trees getting pushed back. It will leave quite a landmark, I'd bet. >w>

Well, macros often don't have it easy in this life x3
but yeah austria is a really cool place if you like spending hours climbing the really big mountains and then enjoying the view from the top.

Don't be so hard on yourself. You didn't fail in the first idea. It just wasn't making any sense when I proposed it and my brain didn't stop my typing fingers and you played along with my crazy idea.
A part of me thinks we made her too big. It's a small part of me though. Also I don't think we ever found out what she looks like under that helmet. Kind of a mystery like what's under Edd's sock hat from the cartoon "Ed, Edd, and Eddy."
I love this so much and I'm glad you like her as much as I do enough to draw such a wonderful picture of this not-drawn-as-much-as-she-could-be character.
