Finished commission I did for a client of mine over on Etsy. She requested an all black wolf and left every other detail up to me. I had so much fun with this one. She features a poseable tail, two different types of black faux fur, a genuine gray fox skull, and a tumbled Carnelian "heart," which is a new feature I'm adding to each skull pup I make. :3 Each stone is cleansed and charged with the intent the owner wants for it before it is sewn into the plush. The commissioner wanted this girl to protect her and give her energy, self acceptance and boost creativity, so Carnelian I felt was the perfect match for her. I charged it and sewed it into Gretch here and now she radiates all of the energy that the Carnelian possesses. And the great thing about Carnelian is that it is one of the few stones that is self cleansing, so it never needs to be cleansed again. It also cleanses other stones in proximity to it, so placing Gretchen near other stones will cleanse them as well. :D She was very happy with her and I am so glad! I love making this guys. The decision to include the stone hearts really makes these stand out to me. They're gorgeous on their own, but that's such a sweet little detail--the carnelian in particular being a stone of flesh in a plush animal just makes me so so so happy, it's like you're giving it as close to a real heart as possible.

I was a little concerned at first that no one would get what I'm trying to do by including that element to these guys. You pretty much nailed it with your comment. Such a keen observation on your part and deeply flattering on mine. :3 It probably sounds crazy to most people, but these little guys each have their own little personalities and things about them that make them each completely unique characters in my mind. I don't name them because I know if I do I will get too attached and never be able to part with them. That's hard enough to do as it is! ;0; lol. But I'm glad you agree. I felt like they should each get a stone that gives energy, light and life to their individual personalities. That combined with the fact that they can be charged to perform a certain task for the owner makes it that much more meaningful to me. I like that they bring comfort and joy just by being what they are, but they can also invoke the energies of the universe through their hearts to bring good things to the people that love them.
