I know I won't finish this anytime soon, so I'll put it here until I have another day off.

My coworkers showed me a few secret spots down by the river last night and what was supposed to be an hour visit turned into a nine hour drink and vent session. I smoked too many cigarettes and managed to fall down an abandoned cement slab and now my knee looks like a burnt grilled cheese sandwich. Mmm.

I wish I could type out all the things that went down in those few hours, but I'm sure that'd be annoying and boring. Aside from my morning of puking and a new associated nausea to cigarettes, it was a ton of fun. I still have a major, unreciprocated (thank god) crush on my manager, but what else is new. He listened to me bitch about my 'ex' moving to the city for hours and bought me shots of whiskey, so I'll just take our friendship with the utmost stride.
