Another page! Another page! Magic is my favourite topic and I usually play the Mage role in a party.
I end up playing the Mage because I often knows more about the rules than the GM and I keep reading my rulebooks for spells and such. <_<
EDIT
Sorry, I might not have been clear in the last panel. The Orc hits the Mage.
The Mage is now K.O. on the ground next to a broken weapon.
The guest character is
BlytzDragon playing the mage apprentice.

i prefer wizarder even though i've only played once and that was back in middle school as a paladin, i haven't played due to me be too shy for randos online, no friends nearby that wanna play, and my go to want of my wizard character isn't exactly the most welcomed of options :c
Also, any player worth their salt knows that starting level spellcasters should never engage in melee combat, and so touch spells are really not the best of ideas. You stay in the back ranks and throw magic missiles and help your tanks by casting faerie fire on the enemies or putting them to sleep. If your wizard is having to fight in melee, the whole party is in trouble.
Me, I like picking up Charm person, and charming an NPC or even a dungeon monster to be my best friend and protect or fight for me.
