This had been the first time that I took advantage of the rail network for traveling in North America, and the trip was simply astounding leaving me with one of the high points of the time spent Stateside. Going to be looking at some future travels based specifically around employing rail travel out there in the future!

This was actually from our trip from downtown San Jose up to Sacramento to attend an aftercon party being held there. At the same time it was also the first chance I had to venture too far into either city, and I was rather impressed by both.
