This is the core of the Lhi’aan home world. The Terminal is a sentient artifact that controls all aspects of Lhi’ardika. It controls everything from the orbit, to the weather and atmosphere. It is also the transmitter of all Lhi’aans, the true minds of the Lhi’aans. It is here that every Lhi’aan mind is collected, stored and transmitted to their bodies. So with that said, the bodies of the Lhi’aan race are merely input/output devices used to interact with their world, if their bodies are destroyed, a new one can be made in its place. But the mind remains in the terminal and the only true death for a Lhi’aan is if it is destroyed or if the Lhi’aan information is deleted which is only done by the system administrator. Very few have ever seen it and getting to it means going through great danger as it is guarded by dangerous viral Lhi’aans and a mechanical Lhi’aan known as the LE-8. The real threat though comes from the Terminal itself as it can defend itself and will attack unauthorized intruders. Only Lhi’aans or their symbiotes can access the Terminal directly, human technologies are not compatible with it and therefore hacking is impossible. Not much else is known about it and even the Lhi’aans themselves are perplexed at it’s mysteries. One could say there is almost a religious ideology between the Terminal and the Lhi’aans but that depends on the Lhi’aan you are speaking to.
