To be fair to Flicker, I'd doublecross the Knights of the Square Table, too, after going unappreciated for God knows how long and repeatedly treated like crap. Those morons are fortunate the real Flicker is such a devout and loyal squire that he puts up with them without any complaints.
Yes, Flicker is technically as crazy as them as he keeps admiring them and still helps them in the shadows, Flame is the only true SANE character when it comes to that. It would be a nice AU. But I am sure one day he will go on a quest by himself and be knighted to marrange her.
