Backstory:

A charismatic and tough woman, Katherine - who tends to be known these days as Katheln - is one of the founding leaders of the Ardent Determinants Alliance, alongside her childhood friend, Jeso Ranaleuk. She tends to be the primary leader of the two though, considering Jeso's timid nature, in contrast to her vicious determination to fulfill her goals. As she has been most of her life.

Katherine was one of the more popular kids at school, with a sizable group of friends around her, and well recognized in her work and by her character. Her zealous attitude toward her religious beliefs and her sense of superiority made her the sort of person you either were friends with, or the person you feared the most in school. It was almost as if she 'had' to torment others who didn't quite see her way, in order to build herself up and appear threatening. And indeed she was - most of the teachers even held her in unusually high respects. And how could they not, to someone descended from General Katrina Arvilich?

But that was just it. Katherine had a name to live up to. To one of the most famous - but also infamous - generals in Tepestria's history. As one of the Group of Seven, she had participated in the coup to oust King Mihel, and brought his highly zealous younger brother, Oran, into power. Later on, she was assimilated by the Falumen and became an even more fearsome figure, before she was annihilated during the attack on Tepestria's capital. Since then, the Arvilich name was tainted with controversy and ill repute. Katherine had taken on the responsibility of making that name great again, no matter the cost. While her methods and actions are devious and sinister, she's nevertheless made a name for herself in school as someone who should not be trifled with.

Katheln befriended the young man Jeso after several incidents with him, usually tormenting the poor fellow for his incompetence, until the two got used to one another and by a stroke of strangeness, they got along better. In particular after she found out he had similar to beliefs as her, of all things. He too was cautious of extreme bodily transformations, in particular ones that could harm the transformee or others around them, as well as holding Tagawiyasis - the triune deity consisting of the Father, Mother, and Child - in high regard compared to other Tieran deities. While she still teased him numerous times, the two would grow to become a common duo seen together.

After completing their university studies and accumulating a sizable amount of funds, the two brought together a group of the friends and allies together and formed a vigilante group: the Ardent Determinants Alliance. United by their strong beliefs, and their distrust towards the zanier activities and shenanigans of others, they made it their mission to investigate incidents of dangerous and/or non-consensual actions, find those responsible, and bring them to justice.

While Jeso has warmed up to some of the individuals involved in the body modification area, Katheln remained hard-hearted as she always was, punishing people even over the smallest of "offenses" in her eyes. And with Society of Bliss and the Cult of Velirai becoming more popular these days, she's even more on edge, and willing to dish out righteous justice to those that would pervert the bodies Tagawiyasis has enabled them to be born with. She won't let those fools corrupt her society. She will have her way.

It's been almost two years since I first introduced the world to a vicious Tieran woman who enjoys punishing anyone who doesn't suit her liking and beliefs. And at long last, she finally has a bio. And a design update too!

I wonder if any Mega Man X fans will recognize the inspiration for the rather dark-themed background going on? I really wasn't to sure what to do, and then something clicked, and next thing you know, I'm drawing "trash/burnt remains" and imprisoned individuals.
