It's tempting to pronounce it like the gill slit, but that's actually a soft G, as the name's a variant of Jillian. I tried a Fursona, but gave it a different name than my own; I'm pretty sure that's normal...? Sorry, this is my first time trying - anyway, I put up some basic info I've figured for her that will hopefully illustrate her personality concisely, there's also a vague reference thrown in here and there but nothing too profound, I'm afraid... ^^;

I picked the colors from a pair of photos I took while spending the summer in Nevada with a relative, hence the name of the palette. I've never done colorful characters like this before and wanted to give it a try - I really liked the other color schemes I created though, and may yet tinker with possibilities... I spent way too much time on this - especially since I have other projects waiting. Hope you guys like it, though.

EDIT: Shucks... I forgot to bold the word "Background"... I tried to fix it, but I think I'll just leave it at that, even though it comes off as a bit tacky. = _ =; Sorry guys... I almost had a perfect first impression.
