I've actually been wracking my brain with how his markings should look. I was looking for a somewhat minimalist design. And to be honest, I'd be fine with this pattern as being official.
Though as a reminder, this ascended Rinji does not exist in the same continuity as the previous stories. In fact, the story surrounding this happens many many years in the future from the current timeline.
That being said, I was pleasantly surprised to see this. Thank you!
