Me as a Mimiga from the game Doukutsu Monogatari ~ Cave Story :3 As for the term "Scruffy", well, I made my own fan Mimiga Subspecies for Cave Story.

While most Mimigas are Rabbit/Dog like, This subspecies of Mimiga is more Rabbit/Kangaroo-Rat like. Being the Scruffies are more intergetic and adventuresome than the main species, they have strong legs to keep up with their energy, as well as a long tail to keep balance; just like kangaroo rats. Being their fur is usually matted from all the romping around they do, this is what has given them the nickname "Scruffy Mimigas".

My ears are like... the main ear that moves it around is the main trianglish part, while the rest is just all floppy.. like a rabbit ear xD yesh X3
