.. yeah, met someone in the MewpChat who thought mews were RAT type Pokémon o_O uhhh HALLO!? Mew's are CAT type Pokés! Why would they be called "Mew" in the first place?! xD If they were rat types.. then they'd be called... Skweeks... and Mewtwo would be a weird mutant rat thing xD

What can I say? That is so very true ; Mew and Mewtwo are cats and yet, because of their shape, they often are confused for kangaroo/mice Pokemon. In fact, I even saw people say that Mewtwo is a reptile!
... but well, that's the same fandom that say that Mew x Mewtwo is incest but that Mewtwo x a clone of himself is okay.
... and well, the canon being vague and overall bad doesn't help either.
