Also called "Asteroid Cracker"

These small ships are basically just a big fat nuclear rocket engine with a tiny, lead encased crew compartement and a huge-ass particle cannon up front. While they are mostly used to keep spaceports clear of rubbish flying around, they can also do massive damage to any ship that comes within firing range, and even though the targeting systems in these ships are crude, they are still precise enough to blow of essential parts over substantial distances.

A ship usually has a two week patrol cycle for orbital missions, and a maximum endurance of four months for planet to planet patrols. For planet to planet operations, the crew module is extended with a second segment, for extra supplies and better radiation protection.
