Ugh that lighting is awful I need to start photographing these out in the sunlight or something.

But anyway uh. Here's my second attempt at that ringtail, full body this time. Tried to get the face markings better, now the body markings are screwy (but to be fair there aren't a whole lot of good ringtail body photos out there, most of the focus is always on their faces). I think the cream should go down the limbs too, but I'm not exactly sure how so I just ignored it for now.

Not really happy with this one, but not because of skill issues this time. Like yeah it's kinda fucky (though the face is definitely way better than before, just don't look too hard at the stripes) but that's not what bugs me, it's more... personal issues, I guess. With how I view myself and how I tried to translate those feelings into this thing but really didn't succeed at all and I don't know if its because... I don't know I can't explain right now, sorry. whatever just have this stupid animal.

I'm at least glad I didn't go for the sleepy/sad eyes here again. That's their default expression sure, but I really needed to draw something a little more enthusiastic today. Also did you know ringtails have retractable claws? I just found that out today.
