IIRC, bees have two pairs of wings. ^^;
I read about bees and found that, while the female (worker) bee has a sting that tears off when she uses it, so that she dies slowly as if she were gut-shot, the male (drone) bee, despite not having a sting, undergoes something similar... at the end of mating. O____O;;;

Then again, I wonder which is worse, that, or freezing to death after the workers chase them out of the hive in the autumn... then again, Jamaican drones don't have to worry about that.
