But different to Thanazoi and Plutais, who are both Feda-Lide of the Type H, "mostly Harmless", Charni is a slightly more common Type-U Feda-Lide. "Unpredictable." So, he's naturally a tad bit more dangerous. Or at least, he would be, if he didn't have the constant pressure to disappoint his family by doing something immoral on his shoulders. He tries his best to not hurt anyone who doesn't really deserve it.

Charni Speranima is one of the many children of the "Sokapayara-Artem-Speranima-June" Verfeli-Family. He and his twin-sister Thena were the second children of Venus Sokapayara and the first children of Erebe Speranima. Thanazoi Sokapaya is their older half-brother. As children, and even as young adults, they had a very close relationship to him and, upon hearing of his supposed death on Earth, were devestated.

Charni became a Tirrdaka and gained Ena-Powers at age 23, together with his sister, after almost getting mugged by a Shadow-Walker and getting a bit too much Shadow-Ena into the face.
Even before becoming a Feda-Lide, Charni picked up the bad habbits of smoking and drinking, sadly simply because of peer pressure. He always tried to keep it to a minumum, but ever since becoming undead, he stopped caring, since his body is dead now anyway. You can't break what's already broken.

At about during the years 1947 of the Terra-Illiadis calendar, his sister Thena was in a relationship with a pretty abusive woman. Charni tried to help her as best he could... but was stabbed into the stomach by said girlfriend, during an attempt to help Thena. However, his determination led him to become a Feda-Lide. However, because of the hate of said girlfriend sprinkled in, he became a Type-U Feda-Lide and had his personality and soul permanently altered. He became a tad bit more unstable and prone to violence... Unpredictable. However, the core of his personality is still there. He's still the same Charni, just a bit different.

He keeps himself and his behaviour in check, in order to not lose his family because of a fit of violence. His family is helping him with that. He's doing a rather remarkable job at it, too. And this is also what helped him to get an Aisepan citizenship, not as the first Feda-Lide (since there have been type-H Feda-Lide as Aisepan citizens before, unlike mainland Illiad), but the first U-Feda-Lide.

Lately, he found out that his half-brother Thanazoi is still alive... Or rather, in a similar condition as him, as a harmless Type-H Feda-Lide. Only him, Thena and his other half-brother Janus Sokapaya know of this. Upon finding this out, Charni was estatic. He finally had his big brother back. He also gained a little bit of admiration for him, and considers Thanazoi to be very strong for beeing able to live seven times as long as him as an undead soul-eater, without any contact to his family at all. However, he's also a little bit jealous that Thanazoi's personality still was the same as a Feda-Lide, while he had to wrestle with his altered one. Thanazoi also has admiration for Charni, because unlike him, he was quicker to show himself to his family as a Feda-Lide, while Thanazoi still hasn't told most of them the truth yet.

As a Type-U Feda-Lide, he sometimes has unprovoked soul feeding frenzies at random intervalls. He can sense them coming, and usually retreats to a save spot during that, like graveyards or old crypts. He got most of the souls he currently has inside his body from there.


Other things:


- Like most civilized Feda-Lide, he can't gain anything by eating normal food, but still has a favourite. His is a traditional Eki-Vahn Meatpie.

- He loves to listen to Rock, Punk and Metal-music from Terra-Illiadis. He feels like Illiadian music doesn't quite cut it.

- Although beeing undead, he still likes doing the do, if you know what I mean. However, he feels like he's not quite cut for a committed relationship, even if it'd be polyamorous.

- He's not very careful in choosing his words, even when he really tries to. The results are often either hilarious or incredibly embarrassing.

- If he gained anything from his father Erebe, it's that he's very savvy with money.
