While traversing the rainforest and exploring what the local flavor had to offer, I met a pit viper in Costa Rica...

He had a slick way with words, a quick tongue, and a mischievous glint in his eye. We spoke different native languages, though easily agreed upon a universal one. (I'm talking about laughter, of course! I don't know what you're thinking!! ...although, it would be a lie if I said that was the only universal language we communicated by ).

A creature of confidence, exotic from the norm.. how could even a prey animal resist! I feel so lucky to have met a guide, a teacher, and above all else, a friend in a not-so-far-away land.

My heart longs to go back to this country filled with mystery, enchantment, and a natural beauty so breathtaking, you feel as if you're living a dream..

I can only wait for the day to return back to the land of Pura Vida... <3
