If you read my latest journal, there was a little hint of an obsession over an old cereal commercial (still haven't found it). While trying to find it, I bumped into some other vintage cereal images, and was having fun just thinking about how simple the character designs were back then.

So yeah, here's Ajin trying to sell you some cereal, before we found out it was the worst possible thing you could eat. Oh well, that's the price of "simpler times." He still doesn't match the style the way I was hoping he would. Needs some work.

The good news is Ajin's design is already that of a "mascot." The creature in every anime that doesn't really add anything except as a distraction to keep people from taking themselves too seriously.
