That look of pure unadulterated terror...it's haunting. It's like a silent scream.
Although he (along with Fifi) is isolated from the other Toonsters, they are communicating telepathically. He had inadvertently demonstrated how everybody else can hear his thoughts before. Doctor Lord knows that he is responsible for separating Babs and Plucky from the group. Hamton is ironically cornered. If he even thinks about his plan for revenge, everybody will know what he's done. As a result, he will lose the respect of his friends...and there's no telling what would happen if the Doctor reported him to the principal...
He is silently praying that Plucky will be able to get to safety after the inevitable sinking. If something does happen to his friend, there's nothing he can do to stop it. To do so would create a rip in the very fabric of time that could threaten the existence of himself, his friends...and maybe even the Tooniverse itself!
All because he succumbed to his jealousy.
Great drawing!

Oh, yeah. Something else I liked about this part: Hamton devised the plot to exploit the Doctor's arachnophobia...because he suspected that Fifi was cheating on him because of what he'd seen and heard.
Now, Fifi believes that Hamton had planned to ruin the mission.
Both accusations are untrue...but the beauty of them is that it is next to impossible to convince someone that it's all just a misunderstanding. Saying "It's not what you think" doesn't help matters AT ALL.
Fifi loves Hamton and wants to be married to him, and Hamton didn't mean for any of what had happened to happen.
Something tells me that when all this is over...they're going to have one hell of a fight.

I know it's taken me ages to think about this, but although it is unlikely that there'll be a confrontation between Hammy and Feef after the events of the battle, I couldn't help but think about what could happen if there was.
Fifi, who is angry at the fact that her boyfriend put their friends in danger, might demand to know the reason behind the falsely interpreted sabotage.
However, Hamton, who is angry due to his belief that his girlfriend has violated both their secret promise and his trust, could incorrectly believe that Fifi is defending her actions, especially since she has not explained how she loves Lord to him...yet.
In a way, I think that, with the help of your explanations, they're both to blame for this little disorder. Hamton has to learn to conquer the beast within him that is his jealousy, and Fifi decided to start work on her new house too early and without consulting Hamton. That fact was the final straw for the pig.
That was my view of what would've happened, but probably won't....as something that'll either halt or incite their conflict might happen instead. We'll just have to wait.

Lord's in control and he's not going to wait for the kids to sort themselves out - he's got bigger worries such as how Hamton's sabotage not only endangered the mission, their lives - but comes close to disrupting Time itself and *does* force him to make both universes aware of time travel and the dire consequences therein. Hamton has far more to worry about than just dealing with Fifi - now he's going to be under the gun and the eye of the Doctor himself.
Yes, that is true. Lord has priorities, after all!
His attitude is in a nutshell "Sorry, Fifi and Hamton, I know your relationship is on the line...but so are our lives and the whole timestream!! Your little spat is going on the backburner because if it doesn't, there is an extremely high chance that we will NO LONGER EXIST!!"
Oh, yes, and Hamton? You're in pretty deep sh*t right now.
