183 second hand thrown spirograph image. Mag light with LED retrofit. I love the paturns this created. It gets me thinking about if there was a way to lower the brightness of the light as it gets closer to the center so the exposure remains more constant. That's my only big complaint about this image as it stands. I feel like the center got way too much light.
Still this is my longest throw yet. Was able shoot this in a garage with the lights turned off and a small string tied to an eyelet in the ceiling.

Kit, lowering the light in the middle would destroy the work. If you look at a Spirograph pattern, it's always darkest where the pen or lines overlap multiple times. This is no different. The center of the pattern is lightest because the pinpoint of light is retracing the same point in space. Hence, more light on the sensor.
It's perfect the way it is.
