The back door of the plane finally closed, and they could let go of the sides of the walls. While Torrent caught her breath, Copleand took some steps toward the cockcpit, but a flurry of feathers blocked her back. Even when trying to move them Ash's wings relentlessly tried to stay a wall.
"Hey, Ash, Fold those wings up, please!" She shouted.
Breaking out of her pondering, Ash realized what was going on. Without her jacket it was kinda hard, but she pulled her wings as tight as she could to her back.
Then Copleand just walked to the cockpit where Circuit was taking off her make-up, The plane was just flying itself. "So.... Where'er we going now?"
The speakers of the plane turned on for Analie "Don't know. Probably an airport that's not busy."
"Alright, just make it fast." Copleand said then left back to the others.
Ash was still deep in thought again, just looking at the back door of the plane. Copleand just ignored and took a seat on one of the empty boxes.
Torrent however, was walked over to her. "You alright, Ash?" She asked
"I don't know," Ash sighed "It's just those kids. They're so scared."
"Well, They were gonna be traded off." Torrent said "I'm still just shocked how crazy Copleand went on that pilot."
"He had it coming." Copleand added "Shipping out poor kids to get sold into God-knows what. It's sick, even if they are just hybrids."
"And yet when we saved them, they were scared..." Ash continued "They were scared of the cops."
"Well, They're safe now." Torrent said "They're probably off the the hospital to be checked on at this moment."
"What if they're not?" Ash turned as asked her "Hybrids are not the best taken." She then caught a glimpse of Copleand's reaction. "I meant hybrids like me and Analie. We're not natural. Analie I only assume is accepted is because of her years fighting for her country. I still hide what I am to stay safe. What could happen to those kids? They know what they are now, but they may not take it well. I'm just worried for them."
Torrent lowered her hood so she could be seen better "I get it, How about we go visit them in the morning. Maybe that'll calm your nerves?"
"I... I guess..." Ash said as she looked at her "Just one other thing about them, what they said."
"What was it?"
"I don't know, They spoke in, I think it was, Spanish."
"Portuguese." Copleand chimed it "It was Portuguese they were speaking, I-I heard them when I first unlocked the container." Torrent and Ash looked at her with a bit of confusion "What? I use to travel and smuggle things to Brazil, back with my family."
"Do you know what they said?" Ash asked intensly
"No, I can't speak the language." She said "My Dad could, but now me."
Then from over the speakers the works of the kids were uttered, but in a monotone. "Não deixe que a polícia nos levar. Eles disseram que vão nos levar para longe. Não nos deixe. Eles fingem ser os mocinhos, eles vão ust nos levar lá."
Ash just peered into the cockpit, Where Analie was out of her disguise. "You memorized every word they said?"
Analie looked to her and nodded.
Ash eyes just widened "Can you find a way to translate it? I need to know what they were saying!"
Analie looked down at her phone as it started to flip wildly though webpages and typed things in automatically. Then the phone uttered the words in english. "Do not let the police take us. They said they will take us away . Do not leave us. They pretend to be the good guys, they will just take us there ." Ash just walked away as she felt her chest for her heartbeat.
"Oh my..." Torrent murmured
"How are we not use to that by now?" Then Copleand asked, and then she snapped to Analie "Not a word."
