My fursuit has a few torn seams.. I might just try this out. :P

Limted to heads >3 that's the only problem- The rest would be added in if i had a sewing machine to use- repairs by hand sewing aren't always the best and it's harder to hide the seam because you're sewing it on the outside instead of inside

Fursuit head I meant. :P I don't have a full suit, and the paws, sleeves, ect. are still in great shape. It's just the head that is having some issues, like around the ears.

repairs are different from rebuilds btw- If I'm rebuilding it, something's changing. Ears, muzzle, face structure, something. If the base of the head is too far gone, I'll just replace the head with a new one instead.

Yeah, she offered free repairs, but it wouldn't help the ventilation issues. I forgot to mention that, sorry. :P That's what I would want rebuilt about it, but I don't know how one would go about doing so. I'm guessing maybe re-do the muzzle with a fan or something? I really don't know, lol.

Fake fur is fail at ventilation, period. I left a lot of open spaces on the pit mix head and after I put fur on it, the sucker became pretty toasty. >_< But yeah, I can set it up with a fan and battery pack for the muzzle if she made it where the muzzle is hallow. If it's not then I'd have to cut off the existing muzzle and replace it with one that is hallow. If that goes down, I'll have to get information as to where the fur came from, or else if that fur can't be found anymore, we'd have to refur it or do the extreme best you can do to find a match.

What else is causing venting issues? Just the muzzle?

Oh I'm not sure, I'm just assuming it's mainly the muzzle that's making it so hot because it's right there in front of my face.

If you're one of the winners I'll probably have to check out the entire head and make some vent spots here and there. That's going to require taking the fur off that's on it though, so I might have to put new stuff down, idk. It depends on how it's attached. If it's glued all over and pushed down on the foam, then yeah. If she got smart and only glued key parts down, then we might be able to salvage what's on it. Should ask her how it was assembled that way I could tell you whether or not we'd need new fur.
