This deviation is a recipe for pizza. Everyone loves it, so here is my recipe that I'll share with you!
In a standard bowl, microwave 1 1/3 cups of water for about a minute. Remove and mix in a pack of dry active yeast. If you're using a jar of yeast like I am, add 2 1/4 teaspoons. Let it sit for 3 minutes or until you can smell it activate.
One question people might have is "Can I skip the yeast?" Answer: Absolutely not! Yeast is a very important ingredient when making pizza. Or any kinda dough recipe, whether it's bread, doughnuts, cinnamon rolls, etc. yeast is very important.
As it's activating, in a large metal bowl, mix together 3 1/2 cups of all purpose flour, 2 teaspoons of sugar, 2 teaspoons of salt and 2 tablespoons of olive oil. Mix with a wooden spoon.
Stir the yeast and water around once it is now activated and gradually add it to your dry ingredients. Stir for atleast 2 minutes.
The dough looks very sticky at this point so just sprinkle on some flour and kneed it a bit till soft and elastic. Then place the dough in a large glass bowl and cover with a drizzle of olive oil. Then take a clean kitchen washcloth, damp it with warm water, cover the bowl with the cloth and place the dough somewhere warm for it to rise. It should take 45 minutes to an hour.
Meanwhile, pre heat your oven to 425 degrees
As the dough is rising and your oven is heating, prep the other ingredients. On a clean cutting board, chop 4 gloves of garlic and set aside. In a small bowl, take a 1/4 cup of unsalted butter and melt it in the microwave. Add you chopped garlic to the butter and give it a good stir. Set aside for now.
In a standard bowl, take a cup of spaghetti sauce and add 4 dashes of Italian seasoning, 1 dash of garlic salt and a teaspoon of sugar. Mix together and set aside.
Now for the most important ingredient: the cheese. This recipe does NOT use pre shredded mozzarella in a bag. It calls for a fresh mozzarella you get in a packet. Take your cheese grader and grade just enough that it covers the whole thing. Set aside for the next step.
Chop 3 green onions into quarter inch pieces and set aside
After your dough has finally risen, deflate it, take a round 16" pizza pan, spray it with Pam and dust with flour. Take your dough and flatten it across the pan.
Take the garlic butter you made earlier and brush it onto the dough.
Please the pan into the oven and bake for 10 minutes. After those 10 minutes, remove from the oven and spread the remaining butter around the crust.
Take your sauce you made earlier and spread it across your crust. Then take the cheese you graded earlier and spread it across the sauce. Sprinkle your chopped green onions across the cheese and place it back in the oven for 20 minutes.
After 20 minutes, remove from the oven and let it cool for 15 minutes. After 15 minutes, take your pizza cuter, cut it into 8 pieces, take your pie cuter, take out a piece and serve it.
This the first time I've ever made homemade pizza and I'm very proud with how it turned out. You have a soft dough, a sweet sauce and a great kick from the garlic butter.
Thank you for reading, and I hope you enjoy my recipe ^^

Presentation wise, it looks pretty good. The cheese looks a little too dark for my liking around the edges, but it's a pizza, it's hard to not do that most of the time.
Actually, a couple months ago, I made chicken Parmesan. So I had put cheese and the breading on it and put it in the skillet to fry it. But when I flipped over the chicken, to my horror the time, it looked horribly burnt. I was afraid at the time that I had scorched the chicken and made charcoal. But when I ate it later, it was okay, the chicken was perfectly cooked. It was just the cheese on the outside that made it look more burnt than it really was.
I just thought I'd tell one of my few cooking stories. I'm not known for cooking.
