Once upon a time I was griping to someone (it was most likely  ttotheaffy) about how nobody has characters of rad species like shoebills sos I decided to draw one myself (because its kinda silly to complain about something and not do anything about it).

Just a little sketch I prettied up with my horribly ill-practiced colored pencil abilities and my brother's spiffy inking pens (mine disappeared :( ). I'm actually pretty happy with the coloring result since colored pencils give me trouble.
Even if my scanner makes it look really milky for some reason =\

Anywho, this is Ed. Ed was a mob hitman in the '30's, one of the best, who found an 'out' when the industry grew tiresome during an "incident" which killed off the bulk of the competing families. Nowadays he's a detective working with the famed Detective Flim whom I've never drawn (but if it matters, he's an anthropomorphic seahorse).
They exist in the same continuity as Mr. Weezill, but not at the same time.
