Never owned one, but I did used to have an Eight Ball Deluxe. God, I miss that machine.

Yes, admittedly Pool Sharks doesn't get a great deal of love around collectors' circles as it really just plays like Eight Ball Deluxe with a few new trimmings and ramps (and still no multiball), but personally that's how I want it to play. Eight Ball Deluxe also has a better standard of art package and fetches much higher values, so everybody else would rather have that one. Eight Ball Champ though, wouldn't mind owning one of those.

If you want to see a BAD Eight Ball Deluxe knockoff however, look out for Sharkey's Shootout (no relation). Almost the same shot layout as 8BD but it's bloody AWFUL.
