OK. So ten year old girl and undecided college freshman against an evil corporation, an evil political movement... and Tyler. No pressure.

Alex Young will probably get involved at some point, but chances are he'd just dismiss them... or barge in spectacularly and mess up all their delicately laid plans. Question is... what then? Does Sei have some plan to awaken Leon's powers to even the odds? Is Leon already awakened (he had to survive a sword swipe to the groin somehow other than artistic license)? Is that secretly part of Meier's/Tyler's plans to discover the secret to awakening powers? Is Tyler going to pull a Lex Luther and copy Alex's powers just to one him up?

The world may never know... but then again the world is a spheroid hurtling through space while circling the sun. We'll find out in another month... give or take a year. Beautiful to read as always, man.

Since you seem pretty hung up on the idea I'm just going to go ahead and say that Leon has no powers now and never will.

So is this an admission that there was something special about Meier that caused Leon's underpants to just disintegrate without nary a scratch on his family jewels? (Not that we got to see them.)

But yes, I'll just have to restructure all my theories to circle around Leon actually being a norm. Mind you, this also involves taking any theories about Meier planning to awaken the powers of every Vul on the planet and just assuming that A) it doesn't work or B) Leon dies / is out of range before they succeed. Mind you, being out of range of a planet altering energy wave is going to be a feat in and of itself. Thankfully there's a handy spaceship down there...

Outside of Sei, Alex and an as-yet-unknown character let's just throw out "Vul Powers" as a plot point altogether.

I don't throw around the D word lightly... but dude? I don't mind being wrong.

Don't get me wrong, I like being right, and it's flattering that you're dropping hints to keep me on the right path? But honestly that is only going to make me more outlandish to compensate. Stuff on the lines of during Leon and Simon's wedding, a woman in an armored space suit crash lands in the party and beheads Leon's sister with a laser sword... only to take off her helmet to reveal herself to be the real Leon's sister. Of which Simon is like all 'sup' while Leon just stands there having a brain melt down.

So please, if you want that level of insanity go ahead and try and put me on a tightrope to work on. Just realize I will find the nearest trapeze and go flying.

But seriously, no need to spoil anything. At this point I'd be more disappointed if I was actually RIGHT about anything.
