not bad water. i don't see much honestly and i hardly do backgrounds(only crappy scribbles) but i can surely say that it looks like water. nice little effect to add ripples in it, adds life to the water, so that's cool.
also, should i says omethign about the obvious lady showing off in the picture? or would that be self explanitory?

oh, that's pretty cool. well, like i said, it looks like you did pretty good for no experience. good looking charcter though. i usually love the crap out of more earthly looking charcaters, but it's always fun to run into one i like that isn't a realistic sort of color. fun pose too though.
