Part of a childrens playground, slowly being taken back by the earth. The view of the ocean the young patients had is incredible. Just one slim method of dealing with tuberculosis.

What kind of lens are you using in this shot? The effect is incredible.

That explains it. :) I've only got a 28mm myself, and I find it hard to find things with the right angles to get neat effects like that. The 28mm's macro setting, on the other hand... =3

I'll bet. ;) I'd like to invest in a macro lens. Photography is getting too expensive! *grins*

I lucked out. I use 35 year old camera bodies, and lenses that enjoyed a twenty year run in production. I've "only" spent $200 on two bodies, five lenses, and various bits and pieces. And yet I still yearn for more. Expensive? Yeah. Worth it? Heck yeah! :D

Quite the luck! I'd do it. ;) The older cameras are built to last, and will click forever with some minor care. I'm going to start pushing film soon.. or so I keep telling myself. *Grins*

Yup! I like the content, but not the lack of detail. It was so bright out, and rainy. And well.. I make a fuss about getting my camera wet. Aside from that, the waves were incredible, and water was carrying over from the beach just a short distance behind me. I really wish I'd taken a good shot of that, but we really needed to leave.

The only lack of detail really is in the sky. Maybe some other time you can ghetto rainproof your camera....oh, and you need to get a neutral density filter if you want to lower the brightness. I'm thinkin' about picking up a few because I <3 long exposures. :)
