page 60of 'How to Draw MANGA Occult and Horror' by Hikaru Hayashi. The only way it's different is you put a shoe (That is shown right next to said 'Kasa') and the top is slightly different. Besides that, traced.

I've never heard of the book, and so either my psychic powers are amazing today or it's a rather amusing coincidence. Seriously, I'd like to see the book! Got a scanner? Feel free to do an overlay comparison, or I will if you give me the image for comparison :P

I have a scanner but it's died.. well, my comp has (I'm on my mother's old lap top because she's nice like that :3) It's very possible that it's just amazingly similar... but I'm telling you the resemblance is STRIKING... *shrug*

Really, I think it's most likely a case of the subject being... well, pretty dang generic, just a cone shape with features added in, so similar poses and images are bound to happen. Just found it so weird to be accused of tracing just after I'd doodled a silly umbrella man after looking at some googled pics XD

Tracing is useless anyway, I'm one of the first to bring the smackdown to tracers when they're trying to be all sneaky - you learn nothing from it and there's no sense of satisfaction when it's done. blah.
