So this is another case of picking up a commission at a charity auction, this time a commission from  catmonkshiro while I was at  wtfur a couple of months back. (I like charity auctions to spread the love around; I get commissions from people I probably wouldn't think to ask otherwise.) In any case, I like giants, and  catmonkshiro likes transformations and clothes-ripping, so the idea I came up with was of Sara starting to grow while inside her power armour, necessitating use of the quick-release capabilities.

As for story background, well, at one point Sara did gain the ability to absorb and use electrical energy like a battery, which is useful not only as a trick most other people don't know she can do and thus might not prepare against, but also because she can actually power her armour off her own stored energy if necessary.

The down side of it is that if she gets overcharged, she has a tendency to get bigger to hold the extra power, and if she wasn't prepared for somebody to be throwing lightning bolts at her, well...

Looks like she's going hand-to-hand with a weather mage for a bit, and then getting away from any cameras and going home to rebuild her armour again. On the positive side, the person throwing lightning bolts from ten feet up probably wasn't expecting to be within arms' reach as a result, and is probably going to be a bit distracted.
