My second tattoo, done by my talented friend, Wes Garvick. He was my late boyfriend's sponsor and close friend. He was kind enough to do my tattoo in memorial to Alex. This design was one that Wes had done on Alex's forearm in 2015. It was always my favorite of his tattoos. We decided to go black and gray instead of color since it seemed more appropriate somehow. He did a great job on it and I am so grateful to always have this to remember Alex by. I miss him everyday. <3

Awww....Omigosh thank you so much! ;3; I'm so flattered that you think so. <3 And I couldn't agree more. I have been in love with traditional and neotraditional tattoo styles all of my life. It was definitely a huge influence on my artwork and a big part of what inspired me to start taking drawing seriously when I was 11 or 12. I kind of got carried away with other influences, but lately I have been trying to get it back to its roots and take inspiration from traditional tattoo designs again, especially now that I've officially made the decision that I need to try to make tattooing my career or I'll spend the rest of my life regretting not making an effort. I'd love to see your tattoos some time! I can only imagine the amazing work you have! @w@ And again, thank you so much for your kind words. It has been so difficult for me in the last 5 months since my boyfriend died, but getting this tattoo was very therapeutic for me. Everytime I look at it, I think of him and all of the joy and love he brought into my life. I can't wait to get more. Someday I hope to be a walking canvas full of beautiful artwork from head to toe. nwn
