As the suit of swords continue power is abused to the point that it all turns into nightmares. Keep in mind that none of it is real, no matter how frightening it gets. Fluffdragons have some pretty freaky dreams sometimes. This card can also mean suffering and depression.

Reversed: distrust, suspicion, despair, total misery.

Yes, it is an upside down 9 because from his point of view that's a 9 for the 9 of swords. I was wondering if anyone would figure that out.
